Are the tickets per person?Yes all tickets are per person. You have the choice to add the Saturday night party as an extra if you wish. The Vehicle & Driver entry ticket includes the driver but all passengers in the car over 14 will need an Adult Entry Ticket.

Can I get a refund?We understand that sometimes plans change, but as per our policy, which is clearly stated on our website and on the Eventbrite booking site, we don't offer refunds on tickets purchased. This is because our plans and arrangements are based on the tickets booked. However, you do have the option to resell or transfer your ticket to someone else. Can the car Registration Number on the entry ticket be changed?Yes you can, on the Eventbrite website. Follow these simply instructions: Log on to your Eventbrite Account via PC/Laptop (the mobile site will not allow you to do this). In the top right click the drop down arrow and select Tickets Select "Isle of Wight Takeover 2024" Select Edit Ticket Head to the Car Reg Question, click edit and change it over with no charge. This is the only way you can update this.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?Yes you can, on the Eventbrite website. In the top right click the drop down arrow and select Tickets Select "Isle of Wight Takeover 2024" Select Edit Ticket Click edit and change it over with no charge. Once the information has been changed click print tickets and give this to the person you are transferring the ticket to. This is the only way you can update this.

When will I receive my e-ticket?Once you have completed your purchase of your Isle of Wight Takeover tickets, an e-ticket will be sent to you via email to the email address you provided. Please make sure to check your Junk too!

One of our most asked questions, Can I get my tickets resent? I can't find my confirmation email.Please follow these instructions to recover your tickets Step 1: Visit the Eventbrite Website Open your web browser and navigate to the Eventbrite website (www.eventbrite.com). Step 2: Sign In to Your Eventbrite Account If you have an Eventbrite account, click on the "Sign In" button in the top right corner. Enter your login credentials (email and password) to access your account. If you don't have an account, you can use the same email address you used when purchasing tickets to access your order. Click "Sign In" and select "Sign Up" to create an account using that email address. Step 3: Access Your Tickets Once you are logged in, click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner to open a drop-down menu. From the menu, select "Tickets." Step 4: View Your Purchased Tickets You will now see a list of all the events for which you have purchased tickets. Locate the "Isle of Wight Takeover" event from the list. Step 5: Access Your Tickets Click on the "Isle of Wight Takeover" event to access your tickets. Here, you can view and download your tickets. If you have multiple tickets, they will all be listed here. Step 6: Download or Print Your Tickets To download your tickets, click the "Download" button next to each ticket. To print your tickets, simply click the "Print" option. Step 8: Contact Support (If Needed) If you encounter any issues accessing your tickets or have questions about your order, you can click the "Help" button at the bottom of the Eventbrite page to reach out to Eventbrite's customer support. That's it! You should now have easy access to your purchased tickets for the Isle of Wight Takeover on Eventbrite. Enjoy the event!

How do I book tickets for my club stand?All attendees are required to adhere to the event's rules and regulations, including those set forth by local authorities and event organisers. Respect the Island's community and environment. Dispose of litter responsibly, and do not engage in any activities that may harm the local ecosystem. Responsible Driving is EXPECTED. We are a licensed event and work hard each year to meet high standards of event organisation that the local government set. Abide by all traffic laws, speed limits and display high standard of driving at all times. Display courtesy and patience towards fellow drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists. Reckless driving will not be tolerated on the island or at our event. Please be mindful of noise levels, especially during late hours. Excessive noise that disturbs residents or fellow event attendees may result in ejection or rejection from the event. The Isle of Wight Takeover promotes responsible drinking. Intoxicated or disruptive behaviour resulting from alcohol or substance use will lead to ejection or rejection from the event. The possession, sale, or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate ejection and legal consequences. Treat fellow attendees, event staff, and local residents with respect and courtesy. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may lead to ejection from the event. Security checks may be conducted at entry points. Refusal to comply with security procedures may result in denial of entry. Your ticket is valid for one person only and grants entry to designated event areas. Duplicate or forged tickets will not be accepted

Can I purchase tickets on the gate?The cash walk-in price is £10. If bringing a vehicle, the charge is £20 for general display parking. Entry for this is after 10am with the general public.

Can my Carer come for free?You carer is able to attend for free if you purchase a ticket, all you need to do is send us an email with their information, ID, credentials and your ticket number. Please email carer@iowtakeover.co.uk with your request and we will arrange this for you.

Can I show my vehicle even if I'm not with a car club?Yes, you're welcome to show your vehicle at IOW Takeover regardless of whether or not you're with a car club. We have an area set for anyone who wishes to show their car but not part of a club. You can park with your friends in this area. Last entry to the showground is 9.30am any vehicle arriving after that will be parked with the general public.

Will there be a show and shine competition?Our judges will be doing their rounds during the day; if your car is selected for an award, a notice will be put on your windscreen to notify you to bring your car to the main arena for the awards ceremony (see timetable for timings).

I am the Club Admin/Owner, where can I see who is booked on stand?Eventbrite no longer supports the option. However, we will provide an update in the new year and again approximately 30 days before the event, to ensure you have all the necessary information for a successful car show club stand.

What should I do if I come across an unauthorized car meet or gathering on the island?If you encounter an unauthorized car meet or gathering that appears to be causing disruption or safety concerns, we strongly encourage you to report it immediately. Please contact the local Police or email us on behaviour@iowtakeover.co.uk Provide as much information as possible about the location, the number of vehicles involved, and any potentially dangerous activities you've observed. Your prompt reporting helps us address these issues and maintain a peaceful and safe environment for our community.

Is Takeover a single day event or a 2 day show?Takeover car show is always on the Sunday, Saturday is wristband collection day and from 7pm Party Night at the showground (Details/theme TBA soon). Saturday we have music playing, many traders are open for business, food and drink stalls are serving, and well have a relaxing and vibrant atmosphere.

Are pets allowed?Yes pets and dogs are allowed at Isle of Wight Takeover 2024. We expect pets to be kept on lead at all times and for owners to clean up after them.

Will there be parking available at the venue?Parking for cars not on show is available on site.

Is there a designated area for medical assistance or emergencies?Yes, there will be a designated first aid and medical assistance area on-site. If you or someone you know requires medical attention, please contact event staff immediately.

Parking on siteFor use of car parks and parking areas: Please be aware that vehicles and their contents are parked at the owner's own risk. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents while they are driven or parked on site. As this is a showground and field, please exercise caution. You chose to enter our site at your own risk.

Driving on site and in generalWe’ve paid a hefty deposit on the venue to make sure it stays in good condition. Therefore, if we catch anyone drifting or driving antisocially, you will be removed from the event. Please be careful when leaving the showground and be considerate to our neighbours.

What is the Takeover Party?Saturday evening we have the Takeover Party. Opening the party will be live music, a nothing short of mesmerizing fireworks display, DJ Juicy Jay, a fully stocked Bar and food vendors to suit all and finally - our very own Takeover entertainment game (announcing shortly)! tickets for this can be purchased as an add on or on the gate if they dont sell out.

Is the Takeover Party Child friendly?Yes the Takeover Party is Child friendly. Please check timetable for entertainment provided. We operate a 9pm watershed for the more PG rated entertainment.
